The natural world has always fascinated me. The shapes, forms, colors, light, shadow, patterns and cycles in nature supply my work with endless possibilities. And the order found in geometry acts as a framework from which to hang ideas. Nature and Geometry are my twin axes of inspiration. This work is a process of accumulation and subtraction, a putting together and a taking apart, resulting in the synthesis of a completed work, completed, but never finished....A quotation that always helps my thinking is:
